Note: There is quite a bit of detail missing from this photo that is in the original painting. See details below. Garden Walk is actually the third time I have painted these rock steps. A smaller version hangs in a real estate office where I am a part owner. This version is one I am most fond of - I want to follow the path through the woods and see where I come out. The goldfish just below the pond's surface would love a bit of food and the geraniums are at their peak. It's later in the summer than in the "Peaceful Garden" and this is a perfect place to find a respite from the sweltering days of August. Kick off your shoes and feel the cool stone beneath your bare feet. |
